AI Brand Visibility (AEO/GEO)

See how your brand shows up when someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.

Greenleaf is the Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform built for U.S. brands: daily measurement across four engines, city by city, on software we own.

We query the major AI engines and measure your visibility: who is appearing in your place, and what to move to take ground.

Why now

The shift already started and most brands aren't measuring it.

01

AI citation is now an official metric

Microsoft shipped the AI Performance panel in Bing Webmaster Tools — citation inside AI answers is now a first-class search metric.

02

Traditional SEO traffic is falling

Gartner projects a 25% drop in traditional search volume by the end of 2026. The share is moving into AI answers.

03

AI bots don't execute JavaScript

A Vercel and MERJ study across 500M+ crawler hits confirmed it: whatever isn't in your server HTML doesn't exist to them.

04

Citing sources raises visibility

The GEO paper from Princeton and IIT Delhi (KDD '24) measured that precise statistics and cited sources lift AI visibility by 30–40%.

05

Visibility is local, and nobody measures it that way

Your buyers don't ask "best in the country." They ask "best near me." If measurement isn't geographic, it isn't measuring your market.

06

Your competitors are already being recommended

Or they aren't — and you have no idea. That answer is worth more today than a Google keyword ranking.

Coverage

We monitor the four platforms your buyers actually ask.

What you see in Greenleaf is what anyone sees when they ask AI about your category.

The program

Measured daily. Executed monthly.

The platform

  • Your brand tracked across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity
  • 30–60 real questions your buyers ask, measured every day
  • Visibility Score and Share of Voice against your real competitive set
  • Citation sources and competitor movement
  • Alerts when your visibility drops
  • Dashboard and reporting included — no separate platform fee

The GEO team

  • Content built to be cited: answer pages, FAQs, comparisons
  • Site changes implemented: pages and schema, not just recommendations
  • Off-site presence: directories, listings, structured data, reviews
  • Query set and competitive set tuned as your market moves
  • A monthly working session, and an interpreted report of what changed and why
  • A mid-year re-audit: goals reviewed, questions refreshed

Measure it → improve it → prove it in the next report.

How we engage

From kickoff to a work plan in two months.

Month 1

Baseline and instrumentation

Kickoff and intake: brand, competitors, coverage areas. Thirty geo-specific questions designed around how your buyers actually ask. Competitive set, aliases and negative keywords validated. Then thirty nights of daily measurement across four engines, with two rounds of data QA.

By day 30: a live baseline, validated with you. Not an estimate.

Month 2

Diagnostic and plan

Full diagnostic across Visibility Score, Share of Voice and citations. Volatility analysis across all thirty questions. Cross-checked against our 49-point GEO framework. It ends in a prioritized work plan — every recommendation ranked by impact, effort and timing.

Output: a written report and a working session. Your team can execute it, or ours can.

Fixed scope, fixed price, from day one. Talk to us for pricing.

Built for

Categories where the recommendation is the sale.

Anywhere a buyer asks "who should I use for this?" before they ask "how much?" — private education, healthcare, financial and professional services, insurance, and multi-location businesses where the right answer changes by city.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)?+

GEO is the discipline of optimizing how your brand appears inside generative AI answers — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity. The equivalent of SEO, but for engines that generate an answer instead of listing links.

How is GEO different from traditional SEO?+

SEO optimizes for Google rankings. GEO optimizes for the model naming you when someone asks a question in your category. The signals overlap partially, but the tactics are different — and AI gives one answer. There is no page two.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?+

No, and anyone who promises that is selling you something. What we can do is measure exactly where you stand today, move the inputs the models actually use, and show you month over month whether it worked.

How long before we see movement?+

First insights land with the initial batch. The baseline is live in about thirty days. Visibility shifts that reflect real work usually take four to eight weeks, depending on your category and how much content and site work is already in place.

What if the models change their answers?+

Expected, and monitored. That's why we run every question daily on every engine and track a 7-day moving average — we measure the trend, not a snapshot. The dashboard separates stable signal from model noise.

Does it work for our industry?+

Yes. We measure across the U.S. markets and cities you actually serve. If your vertical is niche, we run an assisted onboarding to curate the initial question set.

Is this a tool or a service?+

Both, and that's the point. The platform is software we built and own. The execution is our team. You're not buying a subscription and hoping someone internally finds time to act on it.

What about customer data and privacy?+

Zero personal data. Each workspace is isolated at the database level, and your data never trains external models. We only analyze the public questions people ask AI about your category and the public answers they get back.

Can we run this alongside Private Agents?+

Yes, and some clients do — one makes AI useful inside your business, the other makes AI useful to your buyers. They're bought separately.
